LEROY O. YEAGER, 58



BURGHILL -- Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, Kinsman, for LeRoy O. Yeager, 58, of 1357 NE Ocean Blvd. No. 112, Stuart, Fla., formerly of Burghill, who died of a heart ailment April 8 in Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart.
Mr. Yeager was born Jan. 25, 1943, in Las Cruces, N.M., a son of Wallace H. and Mabel M. Oakes Yeager.
He lived in Burghill for 26 years, graduated in 1960 from Hartford High School, and had lived in Ashtabula for the last three years spending winters in Stuart.
He retired in 1999 after 20 years as a machine repairman at Delphi Packard Electric in Warren and had also been a machinist 15 years at Sharon Steel Corp.
He was past master of Gustavus Masonic Lodge 442, past patron of Hartford Order of the Eastern Star 518 and a member of Ali Baba Grotto in Warren and Youngstown Chapter of the Scottish Rite. He also was a member of Harry Lees American Legion Post 506 in Kinsman, Treasure Cove's Goldwing Road Riders Association and the Honda Riders Club of Stuart.
Besides his wife, the former Dixie G. Garlock, whom he married Sept. 9, 1967, he leaves a son, Michael L. of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; four brothers, Adam L. of Monroe, Mich., Wallace H. and Carl F., both of Burghill, and Darrell W. of Sharon; two sisters, Margaret V. Agosti of Summerville, S.C., and Charlotte R. Fowler of Leesburg, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Two brothers, Fred H. and John A., and a sister, Janet A. Miklas, are deceased.
