ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Redeemer Parish, Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, for Jeannette Ricciuti, 92, of 310 Briarwick Court, Millersville, Md., formerly of First Avenue, Ellwood City, who died Monday evening at Crofton Convalescent & amp; Rehabilitation Center, Crofton, Md.
Mrs. Ricciuti was born April 5, 1909, in Bessemer, Pa., a daughter of John and Anna Ribarich. She had been a clerk at Morini's Market on Wampum Avenue.
She was a member of the church, its Christian Mothers group and the Sons of Columbus, and a former member of the ladies golf league at Del Mar Golf Course. She was a graduate of Bessemer High School, where she was one of the first to play on a girls high school basketball team.
Her first husband, Earl A. Cavalier, died Aug. 25, 1954. Her husband, Sam Ricciuti, died July 20, 1984.
She leaves a daughter, Diana Biega of Millersville, with whom she had lived for the past 12 years; a sister, Virginia Kramer of Youngstown; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Earl J. Cavalier; four brothers, Rudolph, Andrew, Gene and Victor Ribarich; and four sisters, Emma Gallech, Amelia Yelleck, Lillian Terchilla and infant Theresa Ribarich, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Tomon Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
