VIENNA Airport enlists consultants for promotion

VIENNA -- Consultants helping the expansion efforts at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport say the airport has a great deal of potential.
Representatives of GPC International and OBN Worldwide Partners Inc., both of Washington, D.C., are meeting with airport officials this week, touring and evaluating the facilities.
The Western Reserve Port Authority, which governs the airport, is paying the consultants $70,000 to help identify potential users of cargo and passenger service, said Dino Theofilos, WRPA board chairman.
"What is clear here is, you have a great facility and you have a lot to work with," said Jeffrey Lehman, OBN president.
Theofilos said the consultants should have recommendations for the board in three months. He said he is impressed with the consultants, who he said have experience marketing smaller airports across the nation.
"They're going to open up some doors for us," Theofilos said.
