MARY BARNES, 82

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Matthias Church for Mary Barnes, 82, of 1674 Chattanooga Ave., who died of a heart ailment Tuesday morning in Forum Health Northside Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mrs. Barnes was born July 19, 1918, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Anna Hudach Kundus. She was employed by Kohler's and Dale dry cleaners for a combined 35 years of service before retiring in 1985. She was a member of the church and the Slovak Catholic Sokols. Her husband, Anthony, whom she married in 1942, died in 1967.
She leaves a sister, Margaret Harris of Youngstown.
A brother, Edward Kundus, and a sister, Eleanor Herceg, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
