DAVID WINFIELD MILLER, 62



EDINBURG, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Edinburg-Hillville United Methodist Church for David Winfield Miller, 62, of 111 Jackson St., who died Sunday afternoon of heart failure in the Cleveland Clinic.
Mr. Miller was born July 11, 1938, in Harrisville, Pa., a son of Howard V. and Eileen Ruth Jobe Miller.
He graduated from Union High School in Girard, Pa., and Edinboro University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education. He also attended Allegheny College and the University of Pittsburgh.
He was a driver for Syncor International, operated his own chain-sharpening business and was a former counselor at the Youth Development Center in New Castle.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Girard, Pa., the Lawrence County Historical Society and Citizens Against Toxic Sites
Besides his mother, of Erie, he leaves his wife, the former Joan M. Kwiatkowski, whom he married July 14, 1962; a daughter, Daphne Mann of Edinburg; a brother, Michael Miller of Erie; a sister, Jeanne Lewis of Erie; and three grandchildren.
A brother, Russell, is deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Ed & amp; Don DeCarbo Northside Funeral Home.
