AWARENESS MONTH Scheduled events

Here are some events marking National Organ and Tissue Donation Month:
Today: Serving a "Slice of Life" cake to staff and visitors, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Thursday: Displays at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown; Forum Northside Medical Center and Tod Children's Hospital, Youngstown.
Saturday: Secondary and Adult Education Program, Bailey Road Christian Church Women's Retreat, West Branch State Park.
Tuesday: Elementary Education Program: Anatomy Apron, teaches children in preschool through second grade about the major organs and their functions, Cafaro Center Head Start, Eastwood Mall, Niles.
April 26: Elementary Education Program: Kids on the Block, uses puppets to tell the stories of a young boy with a heart transplant and a little girl who's brother had an accident and was an organ donor, Taft Elementary School, Youngstown.
April 28: Transplant 2001, an educational program, St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
