VIOLA WHITE, 92

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home, Youngstown, for Viola White, 92, of Park Vista Retirement Home, formerly of 1114 Wilson Ave., who died Friday at the home.
Mrs. White was born Dec. 23, 1908, in Marion, Ala., a daughter of Jessie and Della Wood Jackson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday school teacher, sang in the Senior Choir, and been a member of the Senior Mission Society and past president of the Pastor's Aide organization.
Her husband, Isaac, whom she married Dec. 23, 1928, died Dec. 4, 1986.
She leaves a daughter, Julia M. White of Youngstown; and a sister, Rosalean A. Howard of Birmingham, Ala.
A sister, Melvina Benson, is deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the service Thursday at the funeral home.
