Miss Handelsman to be bride of Thedore Jervis



The engagement of Leah Jeannine Handelsman, 7254 Hollyhock Lane, Solon, and Theodore Kirk Jervis, 3991 N. 147th St., Cleveland, is announced by the couple's parents.
The bride-to-be is a daughter of Julie and Larry Barnett of the Hollyhock Lane address and Tedd Handelsman of Novi, Mich. Parents of the groom are Theodore G. and Jinx A. Jervis, 5611 Warren-Sharon Road, Brookfield.
Miss Handelsman will graduate May 13 from Baldwin-Wallace College, Berea, with a degree in business management/studio art and will attend the Pioneer Service School, Hubbard Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, this summer. She is in the pioneer ministry with Bedford East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bedford Heights.
Mr. Jervis attended Cuyahoga Community College, Cleveland, and is a supervisor with United Parcel Service, Highland Heights. He attended Pioneer Service School and is a pioneer minister with Harvard Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cleveland.
An afternoon garden wedding is planned for June 16 at Avalon Inn and Resort, Howland, where an evening reception will follow. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and reception.
