MARY C. STOWERS, 88
HUBBARD -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for Mary C. Stowers, 88, of 3541 Liberty Ave., who died Monday afternoon in Liberty Health Care Center after a long illness.
Mrs. Stowers was born Oct. 29, 1912, in Green, Ohio, a daughter of Victor and Mable Louise Rice Manes, coming to Hubbard in 1958. She attended Youngstown College and was a homemaker. She was a member, financial secretary and treasurer of Coalburg United Methodist Church. She was a leader of Girl Scout Troop 363 in Hubbard.
Besides her husband, Clinton, whom she married Aug. 24, 1955, she leaves a son, James E. DeHoff of Austintown; three daughters, Connie Dimko of Salem, Carol Parker of Mineral Ridge and Diane Pabst of Austintown; a brother, Eugene V. Manes of Ocala, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A sister, Marceile Donahue, is deceased.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund or Angels for Animals in Greenford.
