MARK ANTHONY AMATO, 31



BROOKFIELD -- Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Friday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home, and at 10 a.m. in Church of the Sacred Heart, both in Sharon, for Mark Anthony Amato, 31, of 239 Burchell Ave., Highwood, Ill., formerly of Brookfield, who died, apparently of a heart attack, Sunday morning in Chicago.
Mr. Amato was born Feb. 10, 1970, in Brookfield, a son of Dominic J. and Dolores J. Conti Amato Sr.
He graduated in 1989 from Brookfield High School where he played football and basketball, and received a bachelor's degree in international finance and business in 1998 from Youngstown State University. He was a partner in the Michael Hrusovsky Co., a Chicago-based architectural firm.
He was a member of St. Mary Church in Lake Forest, Ill., its Men's Club and also coached its eight grade boys basketball team. He was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Sharon and of the Italian Boccie Club in Highwood, Ill.
Besides his parents of Brookfield, he leaves three sisters, Cheryl A. Hrusovsky of Lake Forest, Denise M. Amato of Springfield, Mass., and Robyn L. Linhart of Hermitage; and a brother, Dominic J. Jr. of Hermitage. His grandparents are deceased.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in St. Mary Church in Lake Forest.
