LUTHER FREDERICK RUCKER, 56



WARREN -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Second Baptist Church for Luther Frederick Rucker, 56, of 877 Lansdowne Ave. N.W., who died of a heart attack Saturday in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Rucker was born Oct. 26, 1944, in Warren, a son of Carlease Sr. and Tommie Lee Davis Rucker.
A 1963 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, he attended Kent State University and worked for CSC as an office clerk. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
A member of the church, he was a former choir member, usher and advisor of the Young Davids. He had been a member of Warren Jaycees, Kiwanis, King Solomon Masonic Lodge 87, Bezaleel Consistory 15 Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite and United Steel Workers Local 2243.
He leaves four brothers, Carlease Jr., Lanny R., David L., Jeffery A., all of Warren; and four sisters, Irene Johnson and Carlena, Darlene, and Robin Rucker, all of Warren; and a niece, Carla A. Rucker of Akron, whom he reared.
Two brothers, Thomas G. Rucker and Greg Butler, and two sisters, Gloria J. and Dalphine Rucker, are deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the church, where a Masonic service will be at 7:30 p.m.
Arrangements are by Sibley-Murray Funeral Home, Warren.
