JAMES A. PREBBLE, 78

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home, New Wilmington, for James A. Prebble, 78, of Cannonburg Road, R.R. 1 Box 210, who died Sunday morning at home.
Mr. Prebble was born July 11, 1922, in Niles, a son of Howard and Helen Mae McFarland Prebble.
He was a truck driver most of his life and retired in 1969 from Edison Electric in Warren, Ohio, where he was doing electrical work. He was a Protestant.
He leaves his wife, the former Mildred Fay Kennedy, whom he married May 8, 1942; two daughters, Patricia Rannard of Pulaski and Karen Mack of Slippery Rock; a son, Danny of Jefferson; a cousin, Charles Wimer of Ellwood City, whom he reared; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A great-grandson is deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
