ROYCE E. McCORMICK, 84

NILES -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home for Royce E. McCormick, 84, of 636 Dakota Ave., who died of a stroke Saturday afternoon in St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.
Mr. McCormick was born March 10, 1917, in Niles, a son of Royce E. and Pearl Jordan McCormick Sr., and lived in Niles most of his life.
He graduated in 1935 from Niles McKinley High School, served in the Navy during World War II, and retired in 1978 after 25 years at R.M.I. Co.
His wife, the former Ida Stegall, whom he married Jan. 12, 1940, died March 28, 1988.
He leaves his companion, Charlotte Corso of Niles; three brothers, Joseph of Austintown, John H. of Tacoma, Wash., and James C. of Leesburg, Fla.; and a sister, Nancy I. Mihalik of Howland.
A brother, Norman, is deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
