NATIONAL PROGRAM Lessons taught

Reynolds Elementary School has the first group of Mercer County school girls to participate in the national Girls on the Run program. It is designed to teach and/or reinforce:
Development of goal-setting skills.Development of self-awareness/group awareness.Measurement of success by how hard they work, how they respect others and how they respect themselves, not by comparing themselves with others.Learning by doing.Development of leadership skills.The value of being part of a group.Experience in cooperation.Benefits of physical health.
