GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Baird Funeral Home, Greenville, for Mildred I. Lyon, 80, of White Cliff Nursing Home, 110 Freedonia Road, formerly of Adamsville, Pa., who died Saturday in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Greenville.
Mrs. Lyons was born Jan. 13, 1921, in Greenville, a daughter of Virgil and Stella Keen McGranahan.
She was a member of Kennard (Pa.) United Methodist Church and raised Boston Terriers and canaries.
Her husband, John M., whom she married Nov. 23, 1939, died Oct. 24, 1994.
She leaves two brothers, Verle McGranahan of Adamsville and William McGranahan of Greenville; a sister, Vivian Smith in Florida; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Carol Spencer, and a sister, Gloria Emmett, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
