JOHN P. WALLACE, 74



ENON VALLEY, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Enon Valley Presbyterian Church for John P. Wallace, 74, of R.D. 2, Scott-Wallace Road, who died Saturday at his home.
Mr. Wallace was born March 17, 1927, in New Brighton, Pa., a son of W. Bruce and Ina Hughes Wallace. He was a part-time driver for Myers Equipment of Canfield, was a self-employed farmer and a local heavy-equipment operator.
He had attended Ohio State University, was a member of Meridian Enon Valley Masonic Lodge 411, where he was past master, secretary and chairman of the building fund, and was instrumental in spearheading construction of the lodge's current facilities.
He was a member of the church, where he served as elder, trustee and Sunday school teacher. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
Besides his wife, the former Margaret McCurley, whom he married April 24, 1948, he leaves three daughters, Sandra E. Shandler of Mount Jackson, Pa., Janet S. Comi of Erie, Pa., and Donna M. Pacchioni of Cleveland; a son, James J. of Worthington, Ohio; a sister, Sabina J. Reich of San Jose, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
A brother, Robert B., and a sister, Margaret J. Wallace, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Terry A. Cunningham Funeral Home, Bessemer, Pa., where a Masonic service will be at 7 p.m.
