PREP FOOTBALL Ex-Mooney star hired as BV coach

Alonzo Ransome made hole-in-one on No. 11, 170 yards, using a 6-iron at Diamondback golf course. It was witnessed by Ron Coleman.
Tim Downs of Champion aced the 135-yard No. 17 hole using an 8-iron at Olde Dutch Mill in Lake Milton. Witness to the 42-year-old Downs' first ace was Todd Swaffar.
Nick Bogdan of Columbiana made an ace on the 140-yard, No. 2 hole using a 9-iron at Valley golf course. Witnesses were Roy Jackson of Columbiana, Jim Lynch of New Springfield and Al Ridel of Columbiana,
William Miner scored a hole-in-one on the No. 8 hole at Bedford Trails Golf Course in Coitsville. He used a sand wedge on the 135-yard hole, and it was witnessed by Larry Miner and Joe Scahill.
Chuck Montgomery of Hubbard aced the No. 18 hole at Tam O'Shanter Golf Course in Hermitage. He hit a 6-iron to the 165-yard hole.
