Petitions for POWs

Petitions for POWs
Rolling Thunder chapters in Ohio are circulating petitions that ask the Ohio Legislature to recommend that the state attorney general file suit against the United States government regarding the civil rights of prisoners of war and missing in action.
Also, the petitioners want all documents concerning POWs and MIAs made public.
According to Rolling Thunder, which wants to re-establish public awareness of Ohio residents listed as POW and MIA, there are more than 88,000 men and women nationally unaccounted for from all other past wars and 2,000 from Southeast Asia, including 111 Ohio residents who served there. Rolling Thunder plans to present the petitions to the state Legislature in June or July.
