HEDWIGA H. SZEPIETOWSKI, 77

WARREN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home for Hedwiga H. Szepietowski, 77, of 632 Champion St. East Unit 6-D, who died Saturday morning of a massive stroke at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Mrs. Szepietowski, who was also known as, "Tootsie," was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Youngstown, a daughter of Peter and Sophia Valiski.
She lived in this area all her life. She was a homemaker, a 1941 graduate of Johnson High School, attended St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and was treasurer of Republic Steel Retirees Club. She enjoyed gardening, cards, darts and needlework. She had worked at the Ravenna Arsenal as a telephone operator.
Her husband, Joseph C., whom she married June 7, 1947, died Dec. 27, 1979.
She leaves a son, Joseph P. of Champion, and two granddaughters.
A brother, Ted Valiski, is deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
