ELIZA STENNIS-WADE, 80



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home for Eliza Stennis-Wade, 80, formerly of 371/2 N. Hine St., who died early Wednesday morning of complications related to kidney failure in Park Vista Home Health Care.
Mrs. Stennis-Wade was born April 7, 1921, in Lincoln County, Ark., a daughter of Stevenson and Gussie Bosman Johnson, and came here 40 years ago from Little Rock, Ark.
She had worked as a household technician for more than 45 years before retiring in 1986.
She was a former member of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ and attended Friends House Chapel.
Her first husband, Henry Stennis Sr., and her second husband, Frank Wade, are deceased.
She leaves two sons, Leon Stennis and Henry Stennis Jr., both of Youngstown; two daughters, Odessier Mays of Taft, Okla., and Joyce Robinson of Youngstown; two brothers, Rev. E.B. Johnson of Las Vegas, Nev., and Stevenson Johnson Jr. of Pine Bluff, Ark.; six sisters, Carnarva Lowe of Oakland, Calif., B. Esther Robinson of Omaha, Neb., Esther B. Bush and Thelma Collins, both of Altheimer, Ark., Mattie Blackshear of Las Vegas, Nev., and Bonnie Inyang Black of San Diego, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Three daughters, Betty Lou Stennis, Anna Mae Davis and Mozell Lever are deceased.
Friends may call an hour before services at the funeral home.
