BRISTOLVILLE -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home for Dorothy M. Dick, 74, of 4809 Corey Hunt Road, who died Saturday morning at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Dick was born Dec. 17, 1926, in Bragsville, W.Va., a daughter of Edward L. and Bessie M. Miranda Lawhorn. She moved here 48 years ago from Oak Hill, W.Va.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts, doll collecting and flower gardening.
She leaves her husband, Dennis W., whom she married Jan. 27, 1947; two sons, Dennis E. of Champion and Larry D. of Bristolville; five sisters, Gladys Pittman of Champion, Hazel Clendenin of Leavittsburg, Faye McKean of Hendersonville, Nev., and Betty Bailey and Myrtle Hagee, both of Warren; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchilden
A brother, Lewis Lawhorn, and a sister, Virginia Hock, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
