DAC holds assembly at Avalon Inn



HOWLAND -- Members of the Western Reserve Chapter of Warren National Society Daughters of the American Colonists served as hostesses March 23-24 for the Ohio State Assembly at the Avalon Inn.
Mrs. Arthur W. Davis Jr., chapter regent, was chairman of the planning committee, which was composed of Mrs. George Barson and Mrs. Wallace Yeager.
Featured speaker at the banquet was Mrs. Raymond Hepler Jr., national president, who spoke about the project to mark the most heavily traveled road in Colonial America, the Great Indian Warrior/Trading Path, which made the exploration and settlement into the interior possible.
A musical program was presented by Mrs. Robert E. Schindler.
