CAROL COLONNA VanWINKLE, 63

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at a later date for Carol Colonna VanWinkle, 63, of 1900 22nd St., Lake Charles, La., who died Saturday morning in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. VanWinkle was born Dec. 14, 1937, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Elena Guarnieri Colonna, and moved to Lake Charles in 1973.
She graduated from Ursuline High School in 1955 and the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1959. She worked as a nurse for 10 years at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the local and state nursing associations in Louisiana.
She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church, Lake Charles.
Her husband, Norman, whom she married Oct. 14, 1961, died July 3, 1975.
She leaves three sons, Michael, Mark and Scott VanWinkle, all of Lake Charles; two daughters, Ann VanWinkle of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Maria VanWinkle of Lake Charles; three sisters, JoAnn Schiavone of Youngstown, Patricia Gallagher of Boardman and Anita Coughlin of Canfield; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Schiavone Funeral Home, Youngstown.
