Spencer-Holmes wedding plans are announced

Announcement is being made of the engagement of Gale Ellen Spencer, 1145 Miller St. S.W., Warren, and Charles Holmes, 1745 Palmyra Road, Warren.
The bride-elect is a daughter of the late Loda Bell and Nehemiah Spencer, who had lived in Warren. She is an advocate for 9 to 5 National Working Women's Association and was employed at CSC Ltd. in Warren
Her fiance is a son of Lorrain Kidd Holmes of Warren and Willie D. Holmes of Chicago. He graduated from Delta Community College in Morehead, Miss., and was also employed at CSC Ltd.
The couple will be married at 4 p.m. May 26 at the Harriet Taylor Upton historical home site in Warren. A reception will be held afterward in Warren.
