MARY DAROSKI, 93

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Kinnick Funeral Home and at 1 p.m. in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, both in Youngstown, for Mary Daroski, 93, of Omni Manor, who died Thursday morning in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mrs. Daroski was born Sept. 19, 1907, in the Ukraine, a daughter of John and Paranka Kaciora Prowznik, and came here as a child. She was a homemaker and a member of the church.
Her husband, Michael, whom she married in 1927, died May 21, 1960.
She leaves a daughter, Mary Ann Veres of Youngstown; two sons, Dr. Theodore and Richard, both of Liberty; a brother, John Prowznik of Glen Burnie, Md.; two sisters, Katherine Prowznik of Lakewood and Ann Hoagland of North Olmsted; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A son, Michael Jr.; a daughter, Janet Martin; and three brothers, Daniel Prowznik, Peter Patterson and Kazmir Prozy, are deceased.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
