LUCILLE ROOP, 67



CHAMPION -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Leavittsburg Church of God for Lucille Roop, 67, of 5384 Kuszmaul Ave. N.W., who died of lung cancer Friday morning at home.
Mrs. Roop was born May 17, 1933, in Crum, W.Va., a daughter of Seymour L. and Edna Mae Cunningham Copley, and moved here in 1950.
She retired in 1992 after 30 years at Packard Electric Division of General Motors, where she was a press operator, and was a member of the church.
Her husband, Carl J., whom she married March 9, 1950, died April 10, 1979.
She leaves a daughter, Lisa Roop Foster of Champion; a niece, Tami Kelso in Wyoming, and a nephew, Robert Morris in Nebraska, both of whom she reared; a sister, Juanita Downs of Leavittsburg; two brothers, Elmer and William Copley, both of Crum, W.Va.; and three grandchildren.
Three sisters, Virginia Howard, Thelma Thomas and Lula Mae Pack; and three brothers, Willard, Seymour Jr. and Edward Copley, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home, Warren, and one hour before the service Monday in the church.
