EVA E. GIZZARELLI, 79
POLAND -- Services were to be at noon today at Rossi Bros. Funeral Home, Boardman, for Eva E. Gizzarelli, 79, of 1518 Rose Hedge Drive, who died Thursday afternoon in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Ms. Gizzarelli was born Jan. 17, 1922, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Caroline Manella Gizzarelli. She moved to Baltimore, Md., in 1940 and returned in 2000. She was a World War II Women's Army Corps veteran and worked for the Social Security Administration in Baltimore before retiring in 1985. Friends may call for one hour before the services at the funeral home.
LOUIS A. CIAVARELLA, 73
YOUNGSTOWN -- Services were Friday morning in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Endicott, N.Y., for Louis A. Ciavarella, 73, of Endicott, formerly of Youngstown, who died Tuesday in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Endicott. Mr. Ciavarella was born Nov. 12, 1927, in Youngstown, a son of Angelo and Mary Ciavarella. He worked for IBM in Endicott for 15 years. Arrangements were by Allen Memorial Home in Endicott. Contributions may be made to Lourdes Hospital, Medical Oncology Dept., specifically to be used for patients.
