BOARDMAN -- St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting at 4:30 p.m. March 10 for the wedding of Roxanna Vance, a daughter of Charles and Polly Vance, 17423 Wick Ave., Lake Milton, and James Gay, a son of Wanda Gay of Roanoke, W.Va., and the late James Gay.
The Rev. William McCartney presided at the ceremony, and afterward the couple were honored during a reception at Willow Creek, Girard.
After honeymooning in Punta Cana the couple live in Austintown.
The bride wore a sleeveless ivory satin gown fashioned with an open neckline and a fitted basque waist. It was enhanced with pearls and gold embroidery, and her full skirt flowed into a chapel train.
Wheat gold gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jackie Schroer, and the bridesmaids, Denise Saxton; Dena and Denise Vance, the bride's sisters; and Brittany and Sierra Pennington, her nieces. Flower girl was her cousin, Megan Doutt.
Chuck Vance, brother of the bride, was best man, and groomsmen were Steve Gay, the groom's cousin; Jason Sletvold; Ray Cole; Keith Jones; and Michael McGarvey, her nephew. Ring bearer was Jared Feathers, her son.
The bride is an assembler at Lear Corp. in Lordstown, and the groom is an assembler at General Motors in Lordstown.
