ODELL ROBINSON, 75



NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Second Baptist Church for Odell Robinson, 75, of RD 2, Oak Park Lane, who died Wednesday afternoon in Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Robinson was born July 10, 1925, in Asheville, N.C., a son of Rockfella Suber and Mariah Robinson. He retired from the heat treat department of Rockwell International Spring Division after 19 years and had also worked for 15 years in the blast furnace department of Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube Co.
He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II, serving in the North Atlantic aboard the USS Wicomico, and in the Pacific aboard the USS Big Horn.
Besides his wife, the former Eleen Stewart, whom he married Nov. 29, 1943, he leaves five daughters, Selena Burnett, Iris McFall and Linda Hilton, all of New Castle, Eleen Wilson of Cranberry, Pa., and Lisa Wells of Upper Marlboro, Md.; five sons, Odell R. and Jack, both of Alta Loma, Calif., Clint and Stacy, both of New Castle, and Keith of Fremont, Calif.; a brother, James Suber of Springfield, Md.; three sisters, Mildred Suber Jennings of Clinton, S.C., and Lillie Martin and Beauty Dunn, both of Silver Springs, Md.; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Four sons, Wayne, Cecil, Lester and Bruce; a brother, Rockfella Suber; and a sister, Liz Suber, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at McGonigle Memorial Home, New Castle. Military rites will be provided by the New Castle Area Honor Guard.
