UThe first officer at the scene of a confrontation in North Lima between Floyd Mioni and police in February was not nicked by a shot fired by Mioni. The injury happened to another officer. Also, police did not trade volleys with Mioni throughout the evening before he was shot as reported Wednesday.
UThe name of Alfreda Edie was misspelled in an announcement Sunday of the engagement of her son Peter A. Packard and Lisa Marie Pezzenti.
