FLORENCE ABEREGG, 85

NEWTON FALLS -- Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Borowski Funeral Home for Florence Aberegg, 85, of 1140 Weinsz Drive, Dover, formerly of Mahoning Drive, Newton Falls, who died of complications from a stroke Wednesday afternoon in Hennic Health Care Center, Dover.
Mrs. Aberegg was born Aug. 31, 1915, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of Louis and Mary Tutorish Gavrus.
She was a custodian for Ohio Structural Steel for many years and was a member of St. Michael Church here.
Her first husband, Michael Pelyak, whom she married July 25, 1936, died Nov. 8, 1966. Her husband, Walter, whom she married Dec. 5, 1970, died June 15, 1995.
She leaves a son, John Pelyak, and a daughter, Carolyn Mason, both of Dover; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A son, William Pelyak; two brothers, George and Peter Gavrus; and a sister, Mary Nicora, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
