EDWARD JOHN STEFANE Sr., 70

SALEM -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stark Memorial Funeral Home for Edward John Stefane Sr., 70, of 1050 South Ave., who died early Thursday in Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Stefane was born Oct. 6, 1930, in Cleveland, a son of John and Katherine Herbert Stefane. He was a 1949 graduate of Salem High School. He worked in the maintenance department of the Salem school system for seven years, had worked at the A & amp;P Warehouse and was a farmer.
A member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and AMVETS, he was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife, the former Jeanette Harris, whom he married Oct. 6, 1956, he leaves a son, Edward J. Jr. of Salem; a daughter, Debra Mesmer of Leetonia; and a grandchild.
Two sisters, Helen Owens and Esther Budic, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
