Dunleavys mark 50th anniversary at dinner party

NEW SPRINGFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. William Dunleavy, 12921 Springfield Road, where honored during a dinner party held March 10 at The Elm Tree in Struthers on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the festivity were the couple's children and their spouses, Dennis and Nancy Dunleavy of New Middletown, Robert and Brenda Dunleavy of North Lima, Kevin Dunleavy of Youngstown, Jeanine Sharp and Erin and John Davis, all of Canfield, and Sean and Pam Dunleavy of Las Vegas. There are nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren in the family.
The former Jacqueline Smith and Mr. Dunleavy were married March 10, 1951, at Sacred Heart Church, Youngstown.
A homemaker, Mrs. Dunleavy was employed at Youngstown Kitchens.
Mr. Dunleavy was employed for 43 years at G.F. Business Equipment Inc., Youngstown, and was an active officer in the U.S.W.A. Local 1617 for 30 years. He served with the Third Infantry Division, Seventh Regiment in Korea.
Mr. and Mrs. Dunleavy are eucharistic ministers at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, and members of the Youngstown Cursillo.
