Ciprianos celebrate 50th anniversary at Mass, dinner and open house

POLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Chris Cipriano, 10314 South Ave., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a family dinner held April 7 at the Fireplace Restaurant.
Before the dinner, family and friends attended Mass at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown, where the couple are members. An open house took place at the Cipriano home on April 8.
Hosts for the events were the honorees' children, Chris Cipriano of Houston, James Cipriano of Poland, John Cipriano of Cleveland and Patricia Congleton of Essex Junction, Vt.
The former Mary Ann Everly and Mr. Cipriano were married April 7, 1951, at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
Mr. and Mrs. Cipriano owned Valley Industrial Trucks for 19 years. He retired in 1998, and his wife, who is also a homemaker, continues to work at the company.
Mr. Cipriano is a member of Knights of Columbus Council 274.
The family circle includes three grandchildren and a great-grandson.
