Feeder cleaning set
A bird-feeder cleaning will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wild Birds Unlimited, 90 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. Feeders will be cleaned for a $2 donation to the Audubon Society of Mahoning Valley.
FISHING
Fly tying class
Bill Skilton of Boiling Springs, Pa., will be giving a free fly tying demonstration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Books & amp; Hooks, in the former Maple Street School, 110 Maple Street in Girard. Skilton will also talk about how to fish the flies.
Skilton grew up along the Yellow Breeches, where he worked with the legendary Ed Koch at the Yellow Breeches Fly Shop and worked for the Leonard Rod Company.
As the owner of USA-FLIES, he has developed fly patterns for Orvis and Umpqua Feather Merchants.

Walleye tourney
A charity walleye tournament will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m April 22 at Mosquito Reservoir, to benefit the Northeast Ohio Adoption Services. Registration from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
The two-angler team event will have both pro and amateur divisions. Entry for pro is $60 and $30 for amateur.
Trout season opens
Pennslvania trout season opened Saturday and runs to midnight September 3.
Minimum size for trout is 7 inches with a creel limit of 5 per day (combined species) during the regular season and 3 per day (combined species) during the extended season: September 4,to midnight, February 28.
