Scholarship fund benefit
BOARDMAN -- "A Night on Broadway," a special show by Move Over Broadway Productions, will be at 8 p.m. April 28 in Southwoods Executive Center McKay Auditorium. The cast will perform songs and dances from classic Broadway musicals. Show proceeds will benefit the Terry Olinski Scholarship Fund. Admission to the performance and reception is by donation only; there will be no reservations, admission tickets or reserved seating. Amateur art exhibition
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Amateurs are the focus of the fifth annual Budding Artist Exhibition, May 29 to June 29 at Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts. Artists age 18 and older who live within 50 miles of New Castle may submit entries between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. May 5 at the Hoyt. Illustrator Nelson Oestreich will be the juror. Honors program
CAMPBELL -- Gospel Temple Baptist Church will honor Sister Ruth Lee for her many years of service at 6 p.m. Friday. Her many activities included being the announcer-secretary to Dr. L.W. Childress from the 1970s until his death in 1992; serving as church clerk, a missionary and a senior usher; and being active in Sunday school programs.
