ELEANOR AKINS, 91

NORTH JACKSON -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown, for Eleanor Akins, 91, of 9687 Gladstone Road, who died Tuesday at home.
Mrs. Akins was born May 26, 1909, in Liberty, a daughter of Thomas and Harriet Finney Williams. She was a homemaker and a charter member of New Covenant Baptist Church of Lordstown and North Jackson Keenagers.
Her husband, Ward A., whom she married June 29, 1929, died Sept. 10, 1984.
She leaves a daughter, Eleanor J. Hawkins of Cortland; a son, Ward A. of Amarillo, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
