EDITH H. WHIGHTSIL, 87

WARREN -- Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna, for Edith H. Whightsil, 87, of 24900 Avenida Balita, Valencia, Calif., formerly of Warren, Ohio and Greenville, Pa., who died April 1 at home. She moved to California in 2000.
Mrs. Whightsil was born Jan. 3, 1914, in Braceville, a daughter of Guy W. and Lucy May Pleuss Hudson.
She was a mold operator at Delphi Packard Electric Systems for 27 years and was a member of United Brethren in Christ Church. She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School.
Her husband, Arthur E., whom she married May 2, 1958, died Dec. 7, 1988.
She leaves a son, Ward D. Double of North Lima; three daughters, Roanna Woerter of Valencia, Calif., with whom she made her home, Donna Derflinger of Warren, and Beverly McCauley of Niles; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Emma L. Dean, a sister, Ruth Beardsley, and a granddaughter are deceased.
There are no calling hours.
