CHARLES A. CORBETT SR., 85

SALEM -- Private family services will be held for Charles A. Corbett Sr., 85, of 278 Crosby, Akron, formerly of Salem, who died Tuesday evening in Windsong Care Center, Akron.
Mr. Corbett was born July 25, 1915, in Rochester, N.Y., a son of Harvey and Katherin Kemmet Corbett. He lived in Salem most of his life.
He was a retired refrigeration salesman and was a World War II Army veteran.
His wife, the former Elizabeth Katon, whom he married Sept. 8, 1938, died in March 1999.
He leaves a son, Charles Jr. of Akron; a sister, Mildred McLaughlin of Burton; and five grandchildren. A sister, Toots Lameraux, and a brother, Harvey Jr., are deceased.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home, Salem.
