YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in New Bethel Baptist Church for A. Bruce Winford, 49, of Arlington, Texas, formerly of West Princeton Avenue, Youngstown, who died of cardiovascular disease Saturday at his home.
Mr. Winford was born March 19, 1952, in Youngstown, a son of Albert and Savannah Wilson Winford. General Motors transferred him to Texas in 1995.
He was an inspector for General Motors for 31 years and was a member of the church, its youth choir and its Baptist Training Union. He was a member of Soul Survivor and the Family bowling leagues.
He was a 1970 graduate of South High School and majored in business administration at Youngstown State University.
Besides his mother of Youngstown, he leaves three daughters, Nechelle P. Marlowe of Columbus and Shayla J. and Brittany E. Winford, both of Youngstown; a son, Trenton K. of Youngstown; a sister, S. Patte Winford of Youngstown; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at Mason Funeral Home and one hour before services Saturday in the church.
