MICHAEL WARDEN, 42

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services were Tuesday at Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home for Michael Warden, 42, of 56 E. Lucius Ave., who died Thursday in Mahoning County Jail. The Mahoning County coroner's ruling is pending.
Mr. Warden was born Sept. 17, 1958, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of David N. Sr. and Alice Ponder Warden, and came to this area in 1998.
While in New York, he was a home-care provider and attended Greater Free Gift Baptist Church.
Besides his father and stepmother, David and Barbara Gardner Warden of Brooklyn, N.Y., he leaves two sons, Michael C. Brown of Brooklyn and Dontae E. Brown of Youngstown; a brother, David Warden Jr. of Rego Park, N.J.; three sisters, Patricia Tarrant, Alicia Warden and Kim W. Ford, all of Youngstown; and three grandchildren.
His mother and three sisters, Michelle and Brenda Warden and Robin Warden-Coles, are deceased.
