MARY M. HEDGLIN NORRIS, 89

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ed & amp; Don DeCarbo Mill Street Funeral Home for Mary M. Hedglin Norris, 89, of 2300 Fording Road, who died Tuesday morning at her residence.
Mrs. Norris was born Dec. 27, 1911, in Mercer, a daughter of Thomas and Sophie Koren. She was a cook 18 years at the West Middlesex Diner.
Her first husband, Sheard H. Hedglin, died in 1973. Her second husband, Walter Norris, died in 1995.
She leaves three daughters, Margaret Rhodes of West Pittsburg, Mabel Nicoletti in South Carolina and Ruth Shaffer of Mercer; a son, Sheard E. Hedglin of New Castle; a sister, Anna Johnson of New Castle; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Two brothers, John and Walter Koren, and a granddaughter are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
