YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in New Bethel Baptist Church for Carmen Renee Clinkscale-Justice, 39, of 536 Ferndale Ave., who died Sunday morning at 528 Covington St. after a six-year illness with cancer.
Mrs. Clinkscale-Justice was born Jan. 27, 1962, in Youngstown, a daughter of Arthur and Constance Thomas Clinkscale.
She was a teacher's aide at Eagle Heights Academy for two years. She was a member of the church, its hospitality committee, a Sunday school teacher, assistant coach for the New Bethel Braves cheerleaders and was a member of the Evangelical Teachers Association. She was also a member of the NAACP.
Besides her parents of Youngstown, she leaves a son, Jerome Justice at home; four brothers, Arthur, Timothy D., Victor R. and James E. Clinkscale, all of Youngstown; three sisters, Adelle R. and Pamela G. Clinkscale, both of Campbell, Latoya Snipes of Pittsburgh; and a grandmother, Ethel R. Thomas of Youngstown.
Grandparents, Wilbert N. Thomas, and Madison and Mattie Clinkscale, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the service in the church. Arrangements are by Washington Funeral Home.
