RODGER H. PEZONE, 86 Was a partner of the Cascade Inn

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Ed & amp; Don DeCarbo Northside Funeral Home, and at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Church, for Rodger H. Pezone, 86, of 920 Hazel St., who died of a heart ailment Monday afternoon in St. Francis Hospital.
Mr. Pezone, known as "Rod," was born Feb. 16, 1915, in New Castle, a son of Anthony and Elvera Sartore Pezone.
He retired as a partner of the Cascade Inn and was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and Sons of Italy, and had been a board member of New Castle Transit Authority. He also was a member of the church.
Besides his wife, the former Edna Varley, whom he married Nov. 21, 1940, he leaves two daughters, Carol Mastrangelo and Debbie Hershberger, both of New Castle; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Albert and James, and two sisters, Madge Clemens and Theresa Bosco, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
