PETER S. NITTOLI SR., 57



BOARDMAN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. in St. Luke Church for Peter S. Nittoli Sr., 57, of 122 Carter Circle, Boardman, who died Sunday morning at home, apparently of a heart attack.
Mr. Nittoli was born Aug. 7, 1943, in Youngstown, a son of Carl R. and Cora M. Cianciola Nittoli, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1961 graduate of East High School.
In 1984, he retired as a truck driver with Preston Trucking. He was a member of the church and the Y-Town Street Cruisers, and he collected and restored cars.
An Army veteran, he served with the 101st Airborne in Kentucky, Alaska and Germany.
Besides his wife, the former Doreen Passek, whom he married Feb. 26, 1983, he leaves a son, Peter S. Jr. of Youngstown; two daughters, Brenda Amorin of Boston and Jeri-Lyn Nittoli of Youngstown; a stepson, Eric Huffman of Boardman; three brothers, Carl of Austintown, Frank of Campbell and Rick of Youngstown; two sisters, Carol Fallos of Austintown and Pauline Simchak of Sebring; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and for one hour before the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
