OSCAR R. SMITH, 52

CAMPBELL -- Services were at 1 p.m. Monday in Good Shepherd Ministries for Oscar R. Smith, 52, of 195 Gordon Ave., who died of a heart ailment April 3 in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mr. Smith was born Aug. 20, 1948, in Mobile, Ala., a son of Fred and Bessie Evans Smith, and came to this area as a child. He was a security guard for Windsor House Nursing Home and was a Baptist.
Besides his wife, the former Doriska L. Smith, whom he married May 15, 1990, he leaves three sons, Derrick L. Patterson and Reginald and George Ware, all of Youngstown; a daughter, Katina Christian of Youngstown; four brothers, Larry in California, Robert of Canton, Melvin of Carson, Calif., and Leon of Long Beach, Calif.; five sisters, Darlene Smith of Youngstown, Doreen Morgan of Girard, Roberta Jordan of Pomona, Calif., Pamela Phillips of San Bernardino, Calif., and Donna Jacobs in California; and 18 grandchildren.
Friends may call for one hour before services in the church.
Arrangements are by Howard Funeral Home.
