MICHAEL RUSCHAK, 81



NILES -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Blessed Sacrament Church, Howland, for Michael Ruschak, 81, of 2565 Niles-Vienna Road, formerly of Tod Avenue in Warren, who died Monday morning at Autumn Hills Care Center.
Mr. Ruschak was born Feb. 11, 1920, in Boystation, Pa., a son of George and Anna Skovran Ruschak Sr.
He retired after 35 years at Republic Steel, where he was a crane operator, and served in the Army during World War II participating in several major invasions in the European Theater.
He was a member of Purple Heart Chapter 606, VFW Post 1090 in Warren, and the Eagles and Moose clubs in Niles.
His wife, the former Margaret M. Andrella, whom he married Sept. 24, 1942, died July 13, 1962.
He leaves two sons, Michael E. of Cortland and Mark A. in Alabama; two daughters, Margaret Trindell in California and Marsha Shambo in North Carolina; a brother, Andrew of Warren; a twin sister, Anna Mundy of Warren; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, George, John and Steve, are deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Sinchak & amp; Sons Funeral Home, Warren, and one hour before the service Wednesday in the church.
