MARY OROVITZ, 89



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John Lutheran Church for Mary Orovitz, 89, of 2554 Nadyne Drive, who died of complications from a stroke Saturday evening in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Orovitz was born Dec. 27, 1911, in Czechoslovakia, a daughter of Samuel and Mary Duran Suderlock.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church, its Altar Guild and choir.
Her husband, Andrew, whom she married in October 1940, died April 27, 1978.
She leaves a son, the Rev. Ronald of Lancaster, Ohio; two sisters, Mildred Kamrath and Sue Brooks, both of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home and a half-hour before the service Wednesday in the church. Contributions may be made to the church.
