HELEN CORSO, 89



SALEM -- Services were to be at 11 a.m. today at Grandview Cemetery Chapel for Helen Corso, 89, of Essex Nursing Center III, formerly of West Tenth Street, who died Saturday afternoon in the center after a long illness.
Mrs. Corso was born April 13, 1911, in Novska, Yugoslavia, a daughter of Steve and Amelia Milesnic, and lived in the area most of her life. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Joseph, whom she married Nov. 11, 1936, died Sept. 12, 1983.
She leaves a daughter, Louise Corso of Lisbon; two sisters, Millicent Dungjen of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Bess Carleton of Los Angeles; and two brothers, Milan and Robert Miles, both of Salem.
A sister, Vanka Popovich, and a brother, Steve Miles, are deceased.
There were no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the church, 1089 E. State Street, Salem 44460. Arrangements are by Stark Memorial Funeral Home.
