MERILEE MILLIKEN BYERLY, 41



COLUMBIANA -- Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Centenary United Church, East Palestine, for Merilee Milliken Byerly, 41, of 3008 W. South Range Road, who died of liver failure late Friday in University Hospital, Cleveland, shortly after admission.
Mrs. Byerly was born June 11, 1959, in Akron, a daughter of Joseph E. and Enid Lee McIntosh, and lived in this area for 13 years, coming from East Palestine.
A member of the church, she was a volunteer at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown where she was a member of its Docent Group. She received her bachelor's degree in fine arts from Youngstown State University.
Her husband, Edward N., whom she married Jan. 23, 1998, died Jan. 11, 2000.
Besides her mother of East Palestine, she leaves two sons, Christian of Boardman and Mark of East Palestine; three daughters, Alyson at home, and Denise and Dana, both of New York City; two sisters, Pamela Bartholow and Michelle Milliken, both of East Palestine; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home and for one hour before services Tuesday in the church.
Contributions may be made to the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown.
